Alibris:
Adds greater exposure and "searchability" for music and movie listings. Sellers have been able to list these items on Alibris for quite some time, but Alibris has never actively marketed these segments. Click here to view a copy of Alibris' latest newsletter.
Amazon:
Begins work on combining duplicate ASINs to provide easier search functionality for buyers. To read the full message, click here. Your current FillZ listings will be matched to the appropriate ASIN by Amazon, but we do recommend that you do a spot-check of your non-catalog items to ensure that they have been assigned the correct bibliographic data. Please let us know if you find any listings that are not being matched correctly.

Biblio:
Added a Canadian Shipping widget to the homepage. With the Canadian dollar strengthening, Biblio is trying to attract Canadian buyers. Not only is the dollar gaining ground, but US list prices are typically 25-30% lower than Canadian list prices for new books, which gives buyers more incentive to shop from their Southern neighbours. This might be a good time for Half.com to open its doors to Canadian shoppers.
eBay:
Is making it easier for first-time users to purchase items. They have introduced a "Guest Buyer" feature that permits new buyers to place orders for fixed price or buy it now items without creating an account first. Click here to view eBay's announcement.
TextbooksRus:After a very successful back-to-school season in August, TextbooksRus has decided to offer another promotional discount to FillZ users who sign up between now and January 31st. For more details, click here.
FillZ News:
What Have We Done For You Lately?
Our Technical Team has been busy working on improvements and bugs:
Barnes & Noble Order Confirmation: If you are selling your listings directly through Barnes & Noble (not through Alibris), you can now confirm your orders on FillZ! If you didn't receive our Email announcement, please contact us and we will re-send.
Barnes & Noble Packing Slips: We have provided a link on your orders page that takes you directly to your Alibris-BN packing slip. Click here to see our announcement.
Export Actual Quantity: FillZ capped quantities in exports to 500. If you had a quantity of 650 for one ISBN, your inventory export would show a quantity of 500. We have now updated the feature to show actual quantities.
Alibris Orders Consolidated!: Multiple item orders purchased through Alibris are now being consolidated on your orders page in FillZ.
Endicia XML file improvement: Previously, Address Lines 1 and 2 were being mashed together in the XML file we generated. This bug has been fixed!
In Progress:
Wiki Clean-up: There is a lot of information to be found on the wiki and we're going to be making some changes in an effort to make that information easier to find. More details next month!
Inventory Input Features: We are adding new functionality to these pages to help you list your items quickly and accurately. If you have any feedback, comments or suggestions for us, please send us an email at news1@fillz.com. We will be giving sellers the opportunity to try out some of the new features before they are rolled out, so please let us know if you would like to be a tester for this project.
New Homepage: We think it's about time to give FillZ a new updated look. We're starting with our Homepage and will be releasing the new look in upcoming weeks.
Bugs Under Investigation:
Alibris/Half.com Orders: We have heard from a few sellers who have received orders through the Alibris-Half.com Partner Program. Are Techs are investigating the issue.
Missing Half.com orders: Occasionally, a Half.com order does not appear on your New Orders page. Our Techs are still trying to determine the root cause.
